The DUI Arrests in Arizona went up in 2009

The Governor office has release the statistics for the year of 2009. The statistic shows that in 2009 people got arrested for DUI were 14,000 arrests, comparing to 2008 which were only 10,500 arrests. In between Thanksgiving and New years there were close to 4,500 arrests.

Most of the people who got the DUI had a percent of alcohol of .15% and higher, which means that most people got drunk.

Let’s look at this situation from another point. You right, people should not be driving under influence. But really pushes those people to drive, or let start from very beginning and see why people drink alcohol and use drugs.

People are trying to get away from their problem. People are trying to forget about the bills and about their worries, and that’s the number one reason why people drink and DUI.

Financial problems should also be on the list with DUIs. Because one of the things which bring out the depression in people. A lot of people are losing their homes and other property. One of the automatic mechanisms humans do is getting wasted to forget about their problem. Only small percent of people are getting their thoughts together and looking for the ways out of their problem.
